Hullo TAY. Welcome to the 10th day of January.
Last year on the 11th day of the month, I asked you what was your first game purchase for the new year. Ah, we were so young then, weren’t we? Life didn’t yet go to hell but we were on the cusp of it. Mine was Lone Survivor. I never did suck it up to play it yet. Hrm...now I don’t know if anyone would be my cat forever.
My first purchased game for 2018 is Lost Sphear. From one LS to another. It’s not actually out yet, and I’m not sure how to feel about this one since I really didn’t love Setsuna, the first game by Tokyo RPG Factory, the company that’s putting out this one.
I did play the demo though and found it more enjoyable than what I played of Setsuna. Granted it’s a very small taste. Concept of recovering memories seems intriguing. Of course, I may just end up canceling and make my first purchase Thumper on Switch instead. Haven’t played that one and heard it’s fantastic. It’s on sale too. Glorious, glorious sale. Honestly though, there is nothing on my radar just yet. New games. Psh, got enough of them in the backlog that I don’t have to purchase a thing.
Until I see everyone playing Monster Hunter World at the end of January and I’ll want it too.
*shame - your backlog shame may not be mine. What’s to shame anyway! Enjoy what you have and however you play. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it.
