Hi TAY! Happy (?) Wednesday! I may really dislike horror games because I’m wussy like that but I will watch me some horror movies and shows (and hate myself afterwards).

Last night, my sister Swan and I started watching HBO’s Folklore. It’s six stories based on six different Asian countries’ folkore tales.

Talk about nightmares!

We watched two eps so far. The first was from Indonesia and anytime kids are involved, it’s just pure trauma. Horror/ghost stories about kids are always the worst!!!

In gaming news, and this is kinda related, I’ve been playing Tales of Vesperia and while not a horror, it’s always cool to see the stories and worlds built up in games. Each game with their own lores to tell and within those, you may have something like the haunted forest your characters have to go explore or something. Pretty cool stuff...

For today’s suggested topics:

  • What’s been your favorite piece of scary in-game lore?
  • Any local folklores/myths of the country/town you live in?
  • Any good scary stories or folklore you love or freaks you out?
  • Or tell me how your day/week has been going! How’s everyone?

Hrm...you know, I can’t say I know any myths from Australia. Anyone know any stories?
