Howdy Tay!

Writing this right after I watched the new episode of Game of thrones, and it feels like coming home. I don’t watch a lot of series but Game of thrones has been a welcomed addition to my life. I can’t say that I am a superfan. Have not read the books or anything other than watching the show. Which is good enough.

Now I find it kinda hard to write about Game of Thrones. Because so much of it has already been said. I can also understand people who don’t like the show that it has become a bit tedious. I don’t really have that much to say about it. It’s alright and I enjoy it. Although one cool thing about the show is how long it has lasted. The show has been with me almost my entire 20s. I have some memories of the show and what I did back then. Like the night when I had a fewer and couldn’t sleep, so started to watch the show for the first and ended up watching the entire first season that night. I was at my moms place at the time because she had cancer. (She is fine now. Fully cured.) Or when I won a ticket to a sneak premiere of season 3 in Stockholm. Or all the nights when I lived with someone and we could watch it together. (It’s a bit of a shame to live alone now because I rather share watching it.) So yeah, I guess the show has made some impact on me.

Anyway, here are some suggested topics for today:

  • Game of thrones, seen the latest episode? General thoughts about the show?
  • What is your favorite fantasy setting in any medium? What makes good fantasy in your opinion?
  • Or talk about anything. How are ya mate? :)
