Hello TAY. How is everyone? Thanks to Drea for covering for me last week. And now a story:

On this, the first day of March, I’ve been insulted.

I was told I would make a terrible real-life farmer just because I didn’t know what a symbol was in Stardew Valley. It was a sort of tar from the tree tapping. Oak resin, it turned out to be.

Let me just tell you, I was stunned into silence while I sought words to protest. Then I was reminded I’d be a good fisherman with a side skill in archery. This comes from my many fishing expeditions in various games, including most recently Final Fantasy XV and my days of shooting all the things with precision in various Zelda games. I don’t know what this means for me as a character in a non-gaming world but I think these skills suit me just fine. I’ll be giving up my farming dreams in the future.

Just...if you see me out there, don’t destroy me with your respectable fighting prowess.

For Today’s Suggested Topic(s):

  • If you had to apply your best video game skills to the real world, which would they be?
  • It’s March 1st, what are your gaming plans for the month, TAY? Did you manage Four in Feb?
  • It’s also the start of Lent for the Catholics amongst us, but if you had to give up something for 40+ days, what would it be?

I probably could have used this opportunity to rick roll but I’m not that person
