Dearest TAY,

NY is in the midst of another Nor’Easter, which means heavy, wet snow (12 to 15 inches expected!), high winds, and the possibility of a blackout. So if I don’t respond to you, know that I am sitting quietly in my room hoping the monster under the bed does not get me in this infinite darkness.

In a few days, I’ll be the new owner of Ni no Kuni II. I did not say proud because I’m not sure yet that I’ll love it. I adore Level-5 but for some reason, the “immature” story, which is the word on the street, is off-putting. But! Then I tell myself, wellllll, I loved Yo-kai Watch. Mainly due to the fact that it involves folklore. But I also played the football one...Inazuma Eleven. And quite frankly, this shouldn’t bother me at all.

So hrm... I really don’t know! I’m still going to play it but I’m going in with some reservations. But building! And a JRPG! Sounds like I really do want to like this game though, huh? Maybe some people would say that my thoughts sound like a convincing argument to get the game...

For Today’s Suggested Topic(s). Answers to one all, none, or some will do:

  • Have you ever bought a game on someone’s recommendation? Did you like it? Did you hate it?
  • What’s the latest game you played that you loved and would recommend to someone? Sell it!
  • It’s the first day of Spring! The first full day, that is. What Spring time activities do you engage in? Is this the best season? What is?

Feel free to Talk Amongst Yourselves! Don’t forget that the Discord Chatroom is always around too for continuing, real-time conversations. If you wanted to give an admin, author, and/or friend a shout to tell them you love them and appreciate their internet availability: You can find them on the DirecTAYry.
