Howdy Wassabi!

I remember when I was at a work interview, it was right at the end of it and they started to run out of questions. So one of them asked spontaneous:

“What do you do a rainy day?”

I did take the question seriously and gave it some thoughts. Finally I gave my answer:

“About the same stuff I do on a sunny day”

It might have just been me being nervous or misreading the situation. But I felt like there was an awkward silence after that answer. I thought that it might make me sound like I don’t ever go out. I did try to explain myself, and overall I didn’t think it affected the results of the interview. It just stuck with me that it was weird that the answer gave a negative reaction. The question itself is a pretty dumb.

Because I think the answer is true for pretty much anyone who lives in a big city with a subway and a bunch of infrastructure that makes avoiding rain pretty easy. I don’t even feel like I need an umbrella most of the time. Unless of course you have a really big storm that sinks the city, but I think that is a step above the “rainy day” description.

So yeah. Todays topic is about rain.

With that said, here are some suggested topics to discuss today:

  • What do you do on a rainy day?
  • Tell about a day when you where outside during rain and you enjoyed it?
  • Ever had a bad work interview? Or a similar awkward situation you had to suffer through?
  • What is the best rain in games?
  • Or talk about anything!

-Oh, hey look! It’s raining outside!. I didn’t even notice that.
