I'm really feeling it!

Welcome to the Open Forum, hosted by Kotaku's reader-run blog, TAY. Feel free to join in the topic discussion, or comment about anything. If you're done here, why not check out the other articles on TAY, AniTAY and TAYClassic. Is this is your first time on TAY or the Open Forum? Then check out this handy TAYTorial!

Hi Party Peeples of TAY.

Keep it down, please. I'm sick. Ah, no worries though. Just a little cold. Nothing that some sleep and/or pork can't fix. Uh, wonton soup. Did I say pork? ...huh. Weird.

Speaking of wontons, one of the experiences with American Chinese Food that I don't look forward to is reading my fortune cookie fortune. I'm cool with the cookies, especially the vanilla flavoured ones (the oranges ones though, bleck).

Why? Because 98% of the time, I get fortunes that insult me. Sometimes, they make huge assumptions about my being (like the time it told me I was happily married man. ¡Ay, caramba!).

Then there are those times where it can't even be bothered to give me a fortune at all. Or worse, something like this:

What is that!?

For today's suggested topic(s):

  • If you can remember it, some of the worst/funniest/appropriate fortune cookie advice you've received.
  • Since it's out there, pork — what's the best way to have/cook it (if you eat it)? Bacon is the only answer that need apply. Challenge me, fools! Oh I'm kidding. Pork is a magical animal. There is no wrong answer except for baked pork chops.
  • The best use of a day off when you're sick.

As always, feel free to Talk Amongst Yourselves if ain't nobody got time for fortune or germs. It is the Open Forum, after all. Don't forget that the IRC Channel is always around for you to carry out discussions as well. If you wanted to give an admin, author, and/or friend a shout: You can find them on the DirecTAYry.
