Good (insert appropriate time of day), TAY! God's in his heaven, all's right with the world. So for the past month and half-ish, like many of you, Animal Crossing sort of owned my gaming life. I'm proud to report that in the past few days I've been branching out with Twilight Princess and a little SMT IV. Also, playing less AC might help get rid of the tan that is cramping my avatar's style. Tans work for some people, but not for Mayor Morie (or real Morie for that matter).
I was thinking earlier about video game openers that really sucked me in at the time. Final Fantasy games will always be the best at that to me. When I was 8, the opening movie of FFIX just enchanted me. I immediately wanted to spend more time in that world. Dyram told me his favorite is FFVII with its dramatic change in music and how the the cinematic blends seamlessly into the opening mission. I'm going to share some other (predictable) favorites, and I encourage you to do the same. What about them struck you? Did the game live up to the good first impression?
It's just so beautiful and somber, like the game itself
Yeah, I know, I don't stfu about this game. But it has my name in it. The opening scenes with the MC in the train, etc. were neat too.
Don't forget about TAYCLASSIC - it's like TAY's Velvet Room.
