PC users have gotten some pretty amazing surprises lately, TAY. The first of which is that Microsoft is beginning to roll out the free update notices for Windows 7 and 8 users to upgrade to Windows 10 when it releases in July. Some time, after a few updates and restarts, your computer will have a little Windows icon up on the task bar by your clock. Once you see that, you’ll be able to sign up to get the free upgrade to Windows 10 once it’s released.
The second thing is that Valve has finally pulled themselves together and been productive enough to start allowing refunds! Yeah! It’s about time! To my understanding, it’s a fairly automated process that simply requires you to go to the website they set up for it and request one. If you purchased the game less than two weeks ago and have less than two hours of playtime on it, you should be able to return it with no questions asked—and they even mentioned people who go over this limit being able to take advantage of it, too, but it would be a case-by-case basis.
This was one of the things I liked Origin and GOG for more than Steam, and after... however many years since Origin’s full release, Valve finally put it in. Praise GabeN.
