Thank You, TAY!

Hello everyone! Dear fellow gamers and otakus, this is my first post on NU TAY.

And as such, I would like to take the opportunity to thank you all for welcoming me to this marvelous community, and make it even harder for me to achieve any productivity throughout the day ^^ I've been a regular Kotaku reader, up until recently when dark times fell upon us. Throughout all that time, I just read the articles, and saw what many of you had to say, but was never really involved in the whole commenting scene, and much less the TAY scene. Of course, part of this was due to my inability to comment due to web browser incompatibility issues (h-hehe ^^;), but another part of it was because I was honestly tired of seeing arguments and toxic discussion amongst the people there. Then, one day, I stumbled upon what we now refer to Old TAY, and what a perplexing moment it was. It was just this vertical collection of random posts from people, just saying what they wanted regarding whatever caught their interest. And I soon found myself finding comfort in the words of the open-minded and reasonable inhabitants of that forum. Soon, I started replying, and then began posting, and I eventually found myself coming into the site constantly to see what was going on in here, and see what other like-minded people had to say (assuming you guys also like to mix ranch sauce, ketchup, mustard and mayonnaise into this one orange looking sauce, and dip french fries in that . . . no? Oh, ok, fine :P) So, all I wanted to say, is thank you for allowing me to become part of this, and I hope all of you give this new format a chance. I know quite a few of you still have concerns, but hey, if they allowed me to become an author, I don't see why they won't let you guys post mindlessly too :D So, let us once again indulge in the casual posting, or the in depth discussions with our new found tools! And thus, I shall start off with a simple question; Is there any way to get rid of spiders inside your own home, without having to call in exterminators or something?? The little bastards have been appearing everywhere lately, and I'm honestly getting fed up >:I should I be concerned about their seemingly gradual increase in size?? Am I at risk of a mutant spider invasion??
