I'm really feeling it!

Dragon Age: Inquisition is Kotaku/TAY Readers' Game of 2014

The votes are in. This is your "Game of the Year" for 2014.

The Speakys are reader run awards that have been setting up for four years now. Thousands and thousands of votes have been cast, and every year we have a slew of winners from various categories. But there can be only one official winner.

This year the winner, and your 2014 Speakys GOTY, is...

Dragon Age: Inquisition

Bet no one saw that coming. Ok, maybe everyone did (heck, I put it in the title), but it's still interesting to see how the voting turned out in the end. As you can probably now deduce Super Smash Bros. for Wii U took this year's Runner-Up title. Not too shabby. Let's take a look at the total votes for each game in the final GOTY round.

1. Dragon Age: Inquisition - 395 votes

2. Super Smash Bros. for Wii U - 282 votes

3. Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor - 162 votes

4. Bayonetta 2 - 122 votes

5. Wolfensteain: The New Order - 91 votes

6. The Last of Us Remastered - 88 votes

7. Transistor - 72 votes

8. Bravely Default - 67 votes

9. Destiny - 62 votes

10. Divinity: Original Sin - 56 votes

11. Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc - 45 votes

12. Pokemon AS/OR - 22 votes

13. Sunset Overdrive - 20 votes

14. Titanfall - 17 votes

15. Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze - 15 votes

16. Infamous Second Son - 11 votes

17. Final Fantasy X/X-2 Remastered - 6 votes

A big thanks to anyone and everyone who voted. We had over 4,000 votes this year alone, which I believe is an all time high for The Speakys. I hope 2015 is a wonderful year for gaming and I look forward the plethora of quality titles we'll get our mitts on.

Keep on gaming and always speak up!
