I'm really feeling it!

It’s Valentine’s Day, and since I don’t have a significant other to spend the day with, I’m going to spend it with some of my favorite video games. Over the last year, I’ve played a lot of games, but some I’ve come back to more than others. Here are the games I still can’t get off my mind, in no particular order.

League of Legends

Somehow, after years, LoL remains my old standby. I’ll take a break from this free-to-play MOBA, but I always come back every time. It constantly changes to keep things fresh, so I never tire of it. At least, not completely.

Destiny

I don’t know how, but Destiny has somehow kept things fresh, even after all it has done. The Year 2 update, Taken King, and all the little events keep me coming back. It always seems to pull me back for another raid.

Super Mario Maker

A true gem. I’ll admit to kinda being a Nintendo fanboy. No matter what, they almost never let me down. With its tight controls and creative gameplay, Mario Maker is the game the Wii U needed to wrest Smash Bros. from its disc drive.

Xenoblade Chronicles X

A game with a heavy focus on exploration, that allows you to explore in a giant mech? I’ll spend an evening with that any day.

Hatsune Miku Project Mirai DX

Okay, this kinda came out of left field for me. But after trying it’s demo, I was reminded how much I missed a good Japanese rhythm game.

Super Smash Bros. for Wii U

I can play a full match with Mario, Cloud, Ryu, Sonic, Pac-Man, Mega Man, Shulk, and Bayonetta all beating the crap out of each other. It’s no wonder that this game has spent more time in my Wii U than any other game.
