Can't sleep? "Working" hard on a project? Utterly bored and with nowhere to go? RELAX RANDOM CITIZEN. THE GRAVEYARD SHIFT IS HERE FOR YOU. This is Kotaku's community run late night forum post, and everyone's invited! Be sure to check out TAY Classic while you're at it!

"If we could change ourselves, the tendencies in the world would also change. As a man changes his own nature, so does the attitude of the world change towards him. ... We need not wait to see what others do."

It's usually wrongly attributed as "be the change you wish to see in the world," but whatever the sentiment is similar (although critically different...but whatevs!)

You like little bumper sticker quotes? You got some good platitudes to lift our spirits?

Or do you just want a remake of Ghandi II.

What do you do to stay positive in the light of negativity? How do you maintain your sanity and keep faith in humanity when things like this happen?

I find when I'm tired I am more prone to being upsettable so step one for me is making sure I get enough sleep every night. Last night I got none so tonight I am the equivalent of a 14 year old that just broke up with his girlfriend of 5 months. But beyond that I try to remember the good that mankind has achieved. We went to the moon! The moon! That's flippin' amazing. My quote would probably be from Dr. Who. It was when I stopped instinctively hating David Tennant for not being Eccleston.

I can't for the life of me find the quote, but it's along the lines of,

"Oh you humans, always so concerned with how the world's going to end that you never stop to think that you just might make it."

Really all of Tennant's run was just very...humanist. I guess that's why I didn't like Smith as much. He turned into G. I. Joe. The fun of David was that during his run he always found unique, non violent, usually contrived, campy ways to save everyone. Smith was more, "I SHOOT YOU WITH MY SONIC SCREWDRIVER! YAR"

It just seemed like they pooped on everything the Doctor stood for.

BUT ANYWAY. I didn't mean to turn this into a Dr. Who flame war, and actually the original question I wanted to ask was, "What article series would you start if you had the wherewithal to start an article series on TAY."

But then I remembered I hadn't slept in awhile and I'm not Hyper (PS. How'd that win to Italy feel boyo? Oh..Wait...haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa), so I can't function very well without sleep.

Fun Dip. Ever get that? That was neither fun, nor dip. It was kind of gross. The stick tasted like chalk and the dip tasted like wasted dreams mixed with sugar.

PS. I'm trying to do MOBA Monday with Duck and Snak so I'll be in and out. I'm not ignoring you, I promise!
