Tonight’s topic: Sight Gags and Humor in Video Games
I recently purchased the Naked Gun trilogy on dvd (I know dvd, makes me feel old too). The movie series is known for its many sight gags, slapstick humor and the fact O.J. Simpson was in it. It also predicted Fallout 4 weapon modding system...
Games have always had a lot of humor, many sight gags, jokes and some even have the slapstick. I recently finished Guacamelee and that game is full of humor. From the constant video game references to the goat masters utter indfference. I mean what other game would give you move named “Dashing Derp-Derp”.
So what are some of your favourite jokes found in Video games? Any game that makes you laugh so hard, you almost tinkle?
Don’t have a sense of humor? Then that is horrible... if you don’t want to talk about the topic on hand, then talk whatever comes across your mind. The Graveyard Shift has begun.
