Can't Sleep?! Does the internet have you under is passionate clutches?! Working on your final project?! Working?! Or did the day just get rolling on your side of the globe? Well this is for you, the fabulous late night/early birds/ future warriors! Hello everyone, and welcome to the The Graveyard Shift, which is hosted by Kotaku's reader-run blog, TAY. This is a place to talk about life, video games, or anything else you want, so feel free to hop in and join in the topic discussion, or anything else you want. Then, when you're done, feel free to dive into other articles on TAY and TAYCLASSIC. Is this your first time on TAY? Then check out this handy TAYtorial!
So, I haven't been doing a good job with my shift here on the Graveyard Shift, I mean finals rolled around and I pretty much abandoned it for like a month straight. For that my fellow TAYmates, I am sorry. It also leads into my discussion topic for today. Abandonment. Woah a bit heavy for The Graveyard Shift don't you think Fyst? Not that kind of abandonment, but rather the media that we abandon in our lives. I also have abandoned comics as of late, especially with my recent pick up of a metric butt-ton of anime that I've been watching. This saddens me greatly, and it was compounded when I found out some crazy stuff(omitting said crazy stuff due to spoiler related issues) is going on in the comics world right now and I'm missing it! So here I am on a Friday night with ton of digital comics through and reading some of the series that I've missed out on. I'm also picking Person of Interest back up, because I got like almost through season 2 and they're only on 3! What have you guys dropped and regretted? (This can be games, TV, comics, anime, whatever media you feel like) Have you gone back to anything this year that you were super into just last year?
In other news, Run Club is actually making me MORE fabulous, I think by the time summer rolls around I could do some seriously bad ass cosplay. Which would be the first time I've ever done one, but that would be fun I think. Mainly it's because I want to go to a con of some sort. I may go to Comic-con in New York this year if I can plan ahead and get tickets. I've said I was going to go last year and the year before that and just never did, so hopefully I'll get my butt in gear and go this time. What cons have you guys gone to? If you were to do a cosplay who would you pick? Anybody wanna plan a Northeast US TAY con visit this year?
Or you know talk about whatever, it's not like I created this post for you or anything... baka.
just kidding, TALK AMONGST YOURSELVES! :3
