Hey everyone! Welcome to the Graveyard Shift, the nightly hang-out hosted by Kotaku's reader-run blog, TAY. This is a place to talk about anything - your lives, your gaming habits, or whatever else you desire. Hop on in and join the discussion! When you're done here, you could always go check out the articles over at TAY or TAYClassic! Or, if this is your first time at TAY, please check out this TUTorial!
I'm failing so hard, TAY! I haven't been able to indulge in a single Halloween tradition so far this year. I still need to set aside some time to carve something for the TAY Jack-o-Lantern thing that we have going on, and I still need to find some sort of Halloween-themed game to play the crap out of after my big exam is over on Wednesday. Hopefully I'll be able to think of something.
On top of that, I always used to read a classic horror book during October, as well. Last year I read through Frankenstein, the year before I re-read Dracula, and I don't remember what I even did before that. This year, I actually got everything all set up and I was going to read The Shadow Over Innsmouth by Lovecraft—It's all on my eReader and everything. But sadly, that plan isn't really coming to fruition, either. Maybe I'll just have to postpone Halloween for a week.
You can obviously tell that my Halloween plans are failing, TAY, so what about yours? Did you make any big plans to celebrate the month? Are there any traditions that you have for this time of year? Did you end up doing either of them? Talk about it down below!
Not a big fan of Halloween? Not in a place that celebrates it? Well then, feel free to talk about life, love, gaming, or whatever else you desire. The Wednesday Graveyard Shift is now open!
