Hey everyone! Welcome to the Graveyard Shift, the nightly hang-out hosted by Kotaku's reader-run blog, TAY. This is a place to talk about anything - your lives, your gaming habits, or whatever else you desire. Hop on in and join the discussion! When you're done here, you could always go check out the articles over at TAY or TAYClassic! Or, if this is your first time at TAY, please check out this TAYtorial!
It's almost Thanksgiving here in the States! I'm guessing everyone here is going to be pretty busy tomorrow, either dealing with a ton of last-minute people at work or trying to help around the house for the festivities. I know I'm going to be cutting and skinning a whole bunch of potatoes and celery and onions and everything for tomorrow. I guess I'm just good with a knife.
Most of my day tomorrow away from the festivities is going to be spent hovering over a computer, watching for random gaming sales or to see if anything on the Amazon Black Friday page looks like it might be worth getting for someone as a present. I've seen a few things that I know looked good at each of those places for gifts, but I never managed to have a schedule that would let me run to a computer and grab them when they were on sale.
It... it's just going to be a busy week for the rest of the week.
Anyways, because there's so much to talk about and everything is so hectic for the next couple of days because of Thanksgiving, Black Friday, and Cyber Monday soon after, it's just going to be open discussion. I'll toss out a few holiday-related topics, but feel free to ignore them:
- What're you doing for Thanksgiving?
- Anything you're looking forward to for sales?
- How are you holding up in the flood of releases these past few weeks?
Of course, if none of these interested you, feel free to talk about life, love, gaming, or whatever else you desire. The Wednesday Graveyard Shift is now open!
