Bonsoir a tutti! Bienvenidos al Graveyard Shift, the nightly hang-out hosted by Kotaku’s reader-run blog, TAY. This is a place to talk about anything - your lives, your gaming habits, or whatever else you desire. Hop on in and join the discussion! When you’re done here, you could always go check out the articles over at TAY or Ani-TAY or the random blips of TAYClassic! Or, if this is your first time at TAY, please check out this TAYtorial!
Hey there TAY hope you all doing great! by the time you read this post I may be sleeping, or even worse, a few hours away from waking up! I’m sorry I won’t be able to be of much use as a host tonight.
Things have been pretty hectic down here... oh some of you may not know about, but I’m currently traveling! I know it sounds absurd but I’ll leave some clues for everyone to try and figure out where in the world I am right now!
The first one is...
This is one of my favorite places in the world. Although this city is pretty hectic, there are some great places to take shelter from the chaos, amongst them the numerous cafes and restaurants, and each one is better than the last one.
The second clue is...
The majority of my childhood friends are descendants of the people of this country, heck I even went out with someone from this country.
Third and final clue...
The place I am right now is one of the many locations of the SNES/PC title Mario is Missing
Anyway for tonight’s topics:
- Favorite places to travel! What makes that place so special? Is it the food? Nostalgia? The culture?
- Which fictional universe would you love to travel to?
Tonight’s jam reminds me of a better place. A land full of sun, and unfortunately pollution...
As always, feel free to Talk Amongst Yourselves, specially if you are hungry like me (or you don’t like tonight’s topic as much as I thought you would)! It is the Graveyard Shift, after all. Don’t forget that the IRC Channel is always around for you to carry out discussions as well. If you wanted to give an admin, author, and/or friend/enemy a shout: You can find them on the DirecTAYry.
