Hey everyone! Welcome to the Graveyard Shift, the nightly hang-out hosted by Kotaku’s reader-run blog, TAY. This is a place to talk about anything - your lives, your gaming habits, or whatever else you desire. Hop on in and join the discussion! When you’re done here, you could always go check out the articles over at TAY or TAYClassic! Or, if this is your first time at TAY, please check out this TAYtorial!
There’s a lot of smaller gaming stories going around the ‘net right now, TAY. A few games are either being announced or hinted at, some DLC is coming out fairly shortly, and some of our most anticipated games for the next few months are either getting more trailers or gameplay videos posted about them. All in all, it’s been a semi-busy week.
On a more personal note, after GTAV finally was released on PC, I finally popped in my PS4 copy and went ahead and started making a character on that for GTA:O. I think she turned out okay—definitely happy about the additional clothing options and minute detail customization that the PS4’s Online had over the PS3’s. That was probably one of my biggest gripes was how everyone looked fairly similar, either because the options were so limited, or because the amount of not-horrible looking options were so few that everyone did roughly the same thing.
Anyways, tonight is an Open Topic, since I think everyone is either too busy with work, school, or family to find time to cope with a guided discussion. I’ll post some news stories down below:
- Killing Floor 2’s EULA reserves the right to ban you for being a jerk
- Alan Wake in talks for Xbox One port; a sequel might hit anywhere, including PlayStation
- Creative Assembly confirms Total War: Warhammer is coming to PC
- D&D now on Steam, complete with dice and a Dungeon Master
Otherwise, feel free to talk about life, love, gaming, or whatever else you desire. The Wednesday Graveyard Shift is now open!
