Tonight’s topic: Playing the Support
I’ve been playing a lot of Overwatch. Then again, who isn’t. Overwatch is the new hotness and everyone is getting into the objective-based FPS. I’ve more or less defaulted myself to the support role when possible. I’ve always enjoyed playing the “healer”. I played a healer in WoW and in SWTOR. We might keep everyone alive, but we rearely get credit when credit is due. Yet, when shit hits the fan all the blame gets tossed on the support. We’re the scapegoat for the failings of the rest of the team.
That’s not to say I’ve played other roles. On my list of priorities on character selection it goes Support>Tank>Defense>Offense.
MEDIC!!! What role have you predesignated for yourself? Do you ever want to branch out?
Not playing Overwatch? I’d ask why, but to each their own. Talk amongst yourselves, The Graveyard Shift is open for business.
