I'm really feeling it!

The Graveyard Shift - Technological Grievance Edition

Hey everyone! Welcome to the Graveyard Shift, the nightly hang-out hosted by Kotaku's reader-run blog, TAY. This is a place to talk about anything - your lives, your gaming habits, or whatever else you desire. Hop on in and join the discussion! When you're done here, you could always go check out the articles over at TAY or TAYClassic! Or, if this is your first time at TAY, please check out this TUTorial!

I've had a pretty busy hectic month, TAY! And to make matters worse, I realized just the other day that I never ended up doing that review of Diablo III: Reaper of Souls that I signed up for. Not that we're in short supply of reviews or anything, but I feel kind of guilty for signing up for it and not doing it. Truth be told, I probably could have done it last week, but we had a lot of stuff going on over here and I just never felt up to doing it. Now that I feel like I could (and should) do it, I can't get the game to work.

Essentially, I'll just be playing and the game's action will freeze, but I can still move my character around and talk to people, just there won't be any battling anymore. I've updated drivers, changed the drive Diablo III was on, and nothing's really been working. I even got a new modem, so... Not entirely sure what's going on. I'm guessing it's an AT&T thing, but I haven't been this stumped on technological problems since my PC decided it didn't like the Source engine anymore and stopped playing Source games.

In much more serious news, my toaster won't properly toast bagels anymore. Not really sure why.

What about you, TAY'ers? What are some recent technological problems that have been bugging you recently? Did a light in a hard to reach corner of the house go out? Did your GPS stop working? Maybe Kinja is being Kinja? Talk about it below!

Do you not have any technological problems? Maybe you're Amish? I'm not entirely sure how you got here, but feel free to talk about life, love, gaming, or whatever else you desire. The Thursday Graveyard Shift is now open!

P.S. - Be sure to check out Movie Night tonight if you aren't there now! They're watching Super Troopers!
