I was listening to some Ovid's Withering today, after a good while of not listening to them. They're a cool, fun band. I know I say that about every band I like and listen to, but . . . Anyways, for some reason their stuff really reminds me a lot of Dark Souls. Like "I kinda wanna play Dark Souls right around now . ." type of similarity. So, I was just wondering if there's ever stuff you hear/watch/or whatever else that suddenly reminds you of a series. I guess, if there's something that authors/directors/dev. teams should try and aim for, is establishing a certain vibe that's memorable enough to make those type of moments happen.
