Game: MORNING POST
Time to Play: 5 minutes
Mondays are rubbish.
Many of you may have woken up this morning wondering how the weekend went so quickly. I know I did. And with the weather like it is now, your outlook might be a little gloomy.
So MORNING POST is here to cheer you up!
In this game, you play as a Postman, here to deliver the post. So go throw some post and explore the nearby house. It’s a short FPS experience, that should be able to run on most computers!
It’s also a petite game/experience, with no real objective as such (apart from just experiencing the cuteness, of course). There’s little interaction outside of opening doors and throwing post. But in a game like this, that works.
There’s no pressure to fulfil any objectives; or stress caused by any difficulty. The game’s strength is that it’s just so carefree and fun. Pointless, yes, but also free from having to have any ‘point’.
And it meant that I was smiling all the way through. Even on a Monday.
Questions for discussion:
- What other games have you played with no gameplay
‘objective’ as such?
- MORNING POST reminds me a lot of Keita Takahashi
games (Katamari Damacy, Noby Noby Boy, etc.) Have you played any of those games?
- What is the best piece of post you’ve received recently?
